About Hojicha

Hojicha is produced by roasting Sencha or Bancha over high heat until the leaves take on a brownish hue and rich savory aroma. This produces an amber-colored tea with a refreshing toasted taste and virtually no bitterness. Roasting reduces caffeine making this unique tea a perfect nighttime drink.
