About Meng Ding Huang Ya

Remarkable yellow tea from Mengding, Sichuan Province, China. Comprised of beautiful tender buds, the leaves are wrapped in cloth after an initial firing, taken out, re-fired and then wrapped again before it undergoes a final slow roasting. Once a tribute tea in the Tang Dynasty, this amazing rarity is highly sought after and in very limited supply. Enjoy the mild hazelnut and light sweet taste as you travel back to the era when medicine was born.
